An unusually large semi-double, red flower, 13-15 cm across, four rows of petals accentuate the stamens. The large, glossy, deep green leaves are slightly twisted. Vigorous, medium tall growth. Early to late flowering. Originated at Middle­ton Place, Charleston, South Carolina, USA. Sport: Henry Middleton Variegated.
