J-Wings (C.japonica) ACSRegistration #3102. Registered in 2019. This 14-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Lady Macon' first bloomed in 2012. It was originated, registeredand propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia. BLOOM: Thelarge sized 10.2 cm x 3.8 cm formal double form flower is medium red. Thisprofuse bloomer is long lasting with consistent form, heavy petal texture andfalls in one piece. PLANT: The plant habitis spreading and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable forlandscaping and exhibition uses. LEAF: Thelight green leaves average 7.6 cm x 4.4 cm with low serration. BLOOM SEASON: Midseason to late.
