Jill Kathleen (C. japonica). Autralian Reg. No. 769N. Camellia News-the Journal of Camellia Australia Inc. No. 217, 2022, p.31. Originator & Distributor: John Coles Nursery, Banjup WA 6164. A cross seedling off Camellia japonica ‘Tama-no-ura’ with the pollen from C. japonica ‘Shiro Chan’. First flowered in 2016 and has remained true to form ever since. The flower is large, 100–110 mm of Elegans (Anemone) form in deep rose pink to white colouring. Very similar to ‘Class Act’ but seems to have a much larger flower. It is already in commercial propagation and catalogued. Plant foliage and growth habit the same as Tama-no-ura. Cultural conditions same as seed parent  Tama-no-ura.
