Jindi

Jindi (C. japonica). China Regn. #2010-073. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2010, No.18, p.47. A bud mutation of ‘Clark Hubbs Variegated’ found by Yan Zhixue, Qingdao, China. The flowers full peony form, red, petals serrate, obsolete light red lines on the petals, middle size, lots of petals, yellow stamens in the center, leaves irregular, thick,6-7 cm long, 3-4 cm wide, margins emerald green, the blade of leaves deep green. Plant upright, growth fast. Flowers early to mid-season.

金蒂 Camellia japonica ‘Jindi’ 中国登录号：2010-073，《中国花卉园艺》2010年第18期47页。由闫志学命名，青岛市君楷茶花园的闫志学培育并登录。美国引进的‘毛缘黑玛瑙’（ELW2）的芽变品种1992年发现芽变枝， 1993 年首次开花。。红色绣球型、齿瓣、隐约可见淡色脉纹，中型花，瓣数多达百枚，中心蕴含黄色雄蕊；叶片宽3～4㎝，长6～7㎝，形状不对称，厚革质，正面反光明显，叶缘翠绿色，中间墨绿色，色差明显，分际线不规则，如同镶边，这是识别‘金蒂’品种的显著特征，枝干立性，长势旺。花期12月至2月。
