Jinxiangyu

Jinxiangyu (‘Larry Piet’ x ‘Harold L’). China Regn. #2012-083. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2012, No.12, p.48. A cross of ‘Larry Piet’ x ‘Harold L’. Flowers formal peony form, cherry pink, large size, 14-17 cm diameter, with some rows of imbricated petals, inner petals upright, wavy and undulating. Leaves elliptic, 10 cm long, 5 cm wide, deep green, margins light yellow, with jade green dots in the center. Foliage dense, growth fast. Flowers mid-season.

金镶玉 Camellia ‘Jinxiangyu’ 中国登录号：2012-083，《中国花卉园艺》2012年第12期48页。由闫志学命名，青岛市君楷茶花园的闫志学培育并登录。该品种从云南山茶杂交种中选育。2005年父本‘哈罗德’通过辐射后，2007年与母本‘拉丽皮特’杂交，2010年始花。花鲜紫红色，完全牡丹型；巨型花，花径14～17㎝，最大花径可达22㎝，花瓣层层紧扣，宽厚，中心小花瓣直立，波浪状。叶片大，椭圆形，叶长约10㎝，宽约5㎝；中脉凹陷，浓绿色，叶边淡黄色，中间镶嵌绿玉斑块，植株紧凑，生长旺盛。花期2月初～4月，花期长。
