Chinka Zufu, (before 1700), Watanabe, 1969, pl.509; Jikeikyōki, 1632:- Small fuchsine pink, single, 6-7 petals, central stamen column with white filaments. Nakayama, 1847, Senka’oden: Single, deep red, large stamen cluster. Similar to the 1789 Shoshiki Hanagatachō cultivar, if not the same. Originated in Japan. (Believed extinct.)
