Kunzhi Jinrui

Kunzhi Jinrui (C. sasanqua). China Regn. #2021-337. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2021, No.6, p.51. It was cultivated and registered by the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. A natural pollinated seedlings of ’Kanjirō‘, sown in 2007 and bloomed in 2013. Flower pink (Red-purple 66C), single form; petals 7-9, round, slightly wrinkled, apex slightly concave; flower diameter 6-7.5 cm; stamens numerous, filaments divided; stigma 3-4 lobed, Ovary hairy and  can bear fruit. Leaves elliptical to ovoid, 4.5-5 cm long, 2.5-3.3 cm wide, blunt apex, broadly cuneate at the base, and densely serrated. The plant shape is upright, and the flowers are abundant and prosperous when they bloom. Flowering period from September to November.

昆植金蕊Camellia sasanqua ‘Kunzhi Jinrui’ 中国登录号：2021-337，《中国花卉园艺》2021年第6期51页。由中国科学院昆明植物研究所培育并登录。从茶梅品种“立寒”自然授粉种子实生苗中选育，2007年播种，2013年开花。花桃红色（Red-purple 66C），单瓣型，花瓣7—9枚，圆形，稍起皱，先端微凹，花径6—7.5厘米，雄蕊多数，花丝分离，柱头3—4裂，子房有毛，能结实；叶椭圆形至卵圆形，长4.5—5厘米，宽2.5—3.3厘米，先端钝尖，基部宽楔形，叶缘锯齿密；株形直立，花开时花量多，繁盛。花期9月至11月。
