A chance seedling No.3 from C. japonica cultivar ‘Nokogiriba-tsubaki’. Flowers deep-pink to red with white spots, occasionally with red petals, single form, medium. Leaves green, margins bluntly serrate. Plant compact, branches hanging down and growth average. Blooms from late-autumn to the spring of following year.
