American Camellia Yearbook, 1986, p.133, Reg. No.1006: An 8 year old chance seedling of Lady Mary Cromartie Variegated that first bloomed 1963. Originated by John and Stella Sewell, Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Plant growth is upright and medium with dark green leaves, 8 cm x 3.5 cm. The semi-double flower is 12.5 cm across x 7.5 cm deep with 6-8 rows of petals. Neyron rose 623, shading lighter to centre petals with yellow anthers and white filaments. Blooms mid-season. Sport: Louise Dovell Variegated.
