Miss Ernestine (C. japonica). Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3254. A 35 year old chance seedling of unknown parents. first bloomed in 1990. It was registered and originated by Ben Shaifer Jones from Woodville, Mississippi, USA. Flowers formal double form with spiraling characteristics and 100 petals, flower size small to medium. Flower color bright rich pink. Plant growth rate average, upright, medium density growth. Bloom mid-season to late. Other Information: There is a known sport which is similar except that the stripes are blush pink, just darker than the base color.
