ACS, The Camellia Journal, Mar. 2007, p.29 with colour photo; Reg. No.2695. A chance seedling that first flowered 1998. Originated by V.E. Howell, Lucedale, Miss., USA, and propagated by the Camellia Nursery, Lucedale. The 11.5 cm diameter, formal double, deep rose red flower has 50 petals. Average, spreading growth, and flowers mid-season. American Camellia Yearbook, 2007, p.71 with colour photo; Dark green leaves measure 10 cm x 5 cm.
