New Zealand Camellia Bulletin, 1975, vol.IX, No.1, p.28, Reg. No.95: C.saluenensis x C.japonica Daikagura, that first bloomed 1958. Plant habit, tall and spreading; leaves light green, 8 cm x 4 cm. Flowers, peony form, 3-5 rows of fluted petals with a centre bunch of numerous petaloids; colour deep pink; size, 12 cm across x 8 cm deep. Blooms mid-season to late. Originated by L.E. Jury, New Plymouth, New Zealand.
