Paul Sérusier

International Camellia Journal, 2014, p.155 with colour photo; European Reg. No. 100.  Originated by Roger Salaȕn, “Stervinou”, Guipronvel, France. A 16-year-old seedling, parentage unknown, first flowered 2008. Plant is upright and fast growing, with flat, leathery, dark green leaves, 15 cm x 7 cm.  Flowers are single, cup-shaped, bright rose, 13-15 cm diameter x 3-4 cm deep. Stamens columnar, anthers yellow, filaments white.  Long mid-season flowering. Flowers fall whole.
