Scott, Aiken, South Carolina. American Camellia Yearbook, 1987, p.83, Reg. No.2062, colour photo between pp.60-61: The 17 year old seedling first bloomed 1976. Average flower size, 12.2 cm across x 7.5 cm deep with 22 petals, yellow anthers and filaments. Very cold hardy. Plant growth is upright and dense with dark green leaves, 8 cm x 4 cm.
