Preacher's Ella

American Camellia Yearbook, 1980, p.172, Reg. No.1686: A medium to large size, white, with a mass of incurved petals in the centre; shading to orchid pink on outside, for­mal double C.japonica mutant of Ella Ward Parsons. Late blooming. Originated by Joe Austin, Four Oaks, North Carolina, USA. This mutant first observed 1977. Size 10-12.5 cm across x 5.5 cm deep. Plant habit same as parent.
