ACS, The Camellia Journal, Sept. 2007, p.C15 with colour photo; Reg. No.2706. A cross between ‘Tri Color Red’ (Lady de Saumarez) and C.oleifera Plain Jane, which first flowered 1997. Originated by Dr William L. Ackerman, Ashton, Md, USA, and propagated by John Pumphrey, Baltimore, Md. The 9 cm diameter, pink, rose form double flower has white star formations extending outwards from the centre. Flowers profusely mid-season. Proven very cold hardy over 18 years. Plant is spreading and dense with average growth rate. American Camellia Yearbook, 2007, p.72 with colour photo. Dark green leaves are 9 cm x 4.5 cm.
