Fendig, 1951, American Camellia Catalogue: Large rose-pink with light pink petaloids, incomplete double (anemone form), 12.5 cm across x 6 cm deep. Small petaloids are interspersed with stamens. Buds are large, oval, with a light brown colour. Leaves are medium green, elliptic, apices acute on a plant of open hardy growth. First flowered 1947. Originated by Robert Hendrick, Greensville, Alabama, USA as a seedling of ‘Robin Hood’. American Camellia Yearbook, 1954, Reg. No.103.
