Selected from the natural seedlings of C. japonica ‘Hatsu-arashi’ and named by Tomita Kunitake in 1965. Location : Private mother tree garden in Kusano machi, Kurume. Plant habit :Vigorous and uptight. Leaves :Medium, oblong. Flowers :White ground with dashed red, medium size, tubular to trumpet, shaped single. Androecium is a tubular stamen cluster. Blooming season :October to March.
