Itō Ihei, 1695, Kadan Chikinshō, vol.I. Large flower. The corolla is snow white and piled up. Originated in Japan. Different readings: ‘Shirakiku-toji’, ‘Shirokikutoji’. This is a possible synonym for the Shi­rokikutoji in the Chinka Zufu (before 1700), Watanabe 1969 reprint.(Believed extinct.)
