[Developer] Shizuoka Prefecture Tea Industry Experiment Station (currently Shizuoka Prefecture Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute Tea Industry Research Center Yuichi)

[History] In 1906, the Shizuoka Prefecture Tea Industry Research Group (currently the Shizuoka Agricultural and Forestry Research Institute Tea Industry Research Center) ordered seedlings of Tada Indian hybrids from the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce Agricultural Experiment Station (Tokyo, Nishigahara) and cultivated them. Selected from the inside. Since 1939, the characteristic test of black tea has been conducted and its excellentness has been recognized. In 1958, it was named'Nadanishiki' and spread.

[Early-early] Slightly late species. During the germination period, it takes about 5 days longer than 'Yabukita'.

[Morphological characteristics] The tree shape is intermediate, the tree vigor is strong, and the stock is large. The collection of tea buds during the plucking period is rather good. The number of buds is medium, and the weight of one hundred buds is slightly large.

[Cutting rooting] Somewhat inferior.

[Good or bad of initial growth] Although it is a little late, the growth will become more vigorous as it becomes more mature.

[How to tailor young trees] According to 'Yabukita'

[Yield] Somewhat high. It's about the same as'Yabukita', and more than 'Benikara'.

[Quality] The quality of black tea is good to moderate. In terms of appearance, the shape is excellent and the shape is excellent. As black tea, it has a good taste and a little good taste. Fermentability is medium.

[Cold resistance] Cold resistance in winter is slightly strong, and laceration type frost damage is slightly weak.

【育成者】静岡県茶業試験場(現静岡県農林技術研究所茶業研究セン夕一)

【来歴】1906年に静岡県茶業研究会(現静岡県農林技術研究所茶業研究センター)が農商務省農事試験場(東京•西ヶ原)から多田系インド雑種の種子を取り寄せ,育成した実生群中から選抜した。1939年から紅茶の特性検定試験が行なわれ,優秀性が認められた。1958年に‘ただにしき’と命名され,普及が図られた。

【早晩性】やや晩生種。萌芽期は‘やぶきた’よりも5日程度運い。

【形態的特性】樹姿は中間型で,樹勢は強,株張りは大。摘採期の茶芽の揃いはやや良。芽数は中,百芽重はやや大。

【挿し木発根性】やや劣る。

【初期生育の良否】やや遅いが,成園化するにつれて生育は旺盛になる。

【幼木の仕立て法】‘やぶきた’に準ずる

【収量性】やや多。‘やぶきた*と同程度で,‘べにほまれ’よりも多い。

【品質】紅茶品質はやや良〜中。外観では,よくよれて形状が優れる。紅茶としては滋味芳潤でやや良好。発酵性は中。

【耐寒性】冬期の耐寒性はやや強,裂傷型凍害にはやや弱。

【耐病虫性】炭疽病に中,輪斑病に強である。クワシロカイガラムシには中。

【栽培適地】暖地,温暖地。

【加工特性】一番茶の紅茶品質はかなり良いが,ニ•三番茶はやや品質が劣る。
