Valsan (C. reticulata Hybrid). NZ Registration No 500 is a seedling of 'Applause', originated by Val Bieleski which first flowered in 1998. The plant is a dense average to slow growth. Leaves are 8 cm x 4 cm and dark green. The flower is semidouble 10cm across and 5cm deep with 20 petals. Colour is pink RHS 58C. Flowers mid to late with a long season.
