ACS, The Camellia Journal, Mar. 2007, p.28 with colour photo; Reg. No. 2698. Collected from a wild population on Sochong Island, South Korea in 1984. First flowered before 1996. Collected and propagated by Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pa., USA. The 5.7 cm diameter flower is a pink single with 6 petals, yellow anthers and light pink filaments. Plant has exceptional cold hardiness, with average growth rate, and flowers early. American Camellia Yearbook, 2007, p.69 with colour photo.
