Xiameng Chunling

Illustrations of the New Camellias Hybrids that Bloom Year-round. p.221. Originated by Palm Landscape Architexture Co. Ltd., China. A cross of Miyakodori x C. azalea, sown 2006, first flowered 2010. A very large peony form, over 13cm diameter, 16 large outer petals, more than 40 twisted central petals. Colour peach-red, some white spots on the centre petals. Stamens sparse among the petals, filaments light yellow, anthers yellow, stigma split into 6 at top. Leaves dark green, long-elliptic, blunt at tip, shallowly serrate. Upright plant with vigorous growth. Blooms summer to midwinter.

夏梦春陵 Camellia ‘Xiameng Chunling’ 中国登录号：2012-108，《中国花卉园艺》2012年第24期47页。由吴劲章命名，棕榈园林股份有限公司的刘春陵、黄万坚、黄万建培育并登录。该杂交种是由红山茶品种与杜鹃红山茶杂交得到的一个巨型花品种。2006年播种，2010 年首次开花。花蕾尖纺锤形，萼片黄绿色，开花稠密。花朵桃红色，花心小花瓣有少量白班。牡丹型，巨型花，花径 13cm 以上。外轮大花瓣 16 枚，长倒卵形，由两侧向内略卷，边缘破浪状，中部花瓣 40 多枚，扭曲。雄蕊散生在花瓣之间，花丝浅黄色，花药黄色，雌蕊柱头 6 裂。叶片浓绿色，背面灰绿色，长椭圆形，先端钝尖，边缘具钝齿。植株立性，生长旺盛。花期 6 月中旬至 12 月底。
