Flowers single form, medium size to large size, red, bud spindle-shaped with yellowish green or light red sepals, petals 5-9, emarginate, obovate, ruffled, stamens cluster in the center, filament pink, anthers golden yellow. Leaves elliptic, deep green, glossy, margins serrate. Foliage dense, growth fast. Bloom June to December.

夏日光辉 Camellia‘Xiari Guanghui’ 中国登录号：2012-100，《中国花卉园艺》2012年第22期46页。由邓碧芳命名，棕榈园林股份有限公司的赵强民、谌光晖、黄万坚培育并登录。此品种是杜鹃红山茶与红山茶‘大菲丽斯’之间的杂交后代中选育。2006年播种，2010年首次开花。花蕾纺锤形，萼片黄绿泛红色。开花量中等。花朵红色，单瓣型，中到大型花，花瓣排列整齐，花瓣5～9枚，倒卵形，先端凹缺，花瓣略起皱。雄蕊多数，花丝粉红色，花药金黄色。叶片浓绿色，长椭圆形，有光泽，边缘具浅锯齿。植株紧凑，枝叶稠密，植株立性，生长旺盛。花期6～12月。
