[Variety origin] Selected by Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the natural hybrid progeny of 'Zhuyeqi' as a single plant. [Characteristics] Shrub type, early-blooming species, half-open posture, medium leaf type, leaf blade length 9.7 cm, width 3.4 cm, leaf blade narrowly elliptic, leaf blade bearing state upward. In Shengzhou area, the spring tea bud one leaf period is in late March, the new buds and leaves are light green with medium velvet, the length of one bud and three leaves is 8.1 centimeters, and the weight of one hundred buds is 43.7 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 16.7%, amino acids 4.5%, caffeine 3.4%, catechin 11.9%, water leachate 50.2%. Suitable for green tea and black tea.
