[Variety origin] Selected by Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the natural hybrid progeny of 'Fuding Dabaicha' as a single plant. [Characteristics] Shrub type, early species, tree posture half-open, medium leaf type, leaf length 9.4 cm, width 3.8 cm, leaf blade medium oval, leaf attachment state level. In Hangzhou area spring tea bud one leaf period in late March, the new buds and leaves light green, less velvet, a bud of three leaves 5.9 cm long, hundred buds weight 34.0 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 18.9%, amino acids 3.9%, caffeine 3.4%, water leachate 48.6%. Suitable for green tea. The shape of baked green tea is fine and tight, curly, hairy, tender green, the soup color is light, tender green and bright, the aroma is high and fresh, floral, and the taste is sweet and refreshing. The first growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 85 kg of fresh leaves, 10% higher than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'; the second growth cycle mu yield of 71 kg, 21% lower than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'. It is highly susceptible to tea leafhopper, highly resistant to tea anthracnose, cold resistance and drought resistance.
