Alix de Kermoor (C. japonica). European Reg. No. 122, published in International Camellia Journal 2017, p.122.  Seedling from unknown parents, grown by Pierre Rohou, Saint-Pol-de-Léon, France; introduced by Earl de Ker-Roue, Berven-Plouzévédé, France. First observed in 2008, first blooming in 2010. Growth at a medium rate; compact, upright, erect. Blooming early to mid-season in the spring, over average length of time, floriferous. Flowers are medium, 8-9 cm in diameter, with 20-25 petals; peony to formal rose-form double, with few stamens displayed. Color is white with margins of red and shades of red and pink; spent blooms fall whole. Buds are round, red. Leaves light green, flat; medium size of 7-9 cm length and 3.5-5 cm width. Named for the granddaughter of the originator.
