Bingdi Chang'e

Bingdi Chang'e (C. japonica). China Regn. #2008-041. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2008, No.14, p.46. A sport of a C. japonica originated by Hu Xianchong, Foshan, Guangdong, China. Flower shape is special with two centres, fully double, pink, 7-10 cm diameter. Petals 100-120 in 9-11 whorls, outer 5-6 flat, regular arrangement, then forming two small centres, 5cm diameter, with 3-5 whorls. Leaves broad ovate, soft, apices acute, bases broad cuneate, obtuse serrate. Leaf surface flat, 6-9 cm long x 4-5.5 cm wide. Flowers mid-season.

并蒂嫦娥 Camellia japonica ‘Bingdi Chang'e’ 中国登录号：2008-041，《中国花卉园艺》2008年第14期46页。由胡羡聪命名，佛山市林业科学研究所培育并登录。2006 年春发现，已连续 3 年开花。2006年春发现，已连续3年开花。花完全重瓣型,花瓣规则排列，从第5～6轮开始在中间并生有2个花心，呈30～45度排列，小花心有3～5轮花瓣.花心中心合抱成5cm的珠球,至花谢始终不脱落，粉红至红，直径7～10厘米，花瓣100～120片，偶见中部带条状白斑。叶阔卵形，质软，先端急尖，基部宽楔形，钝齿。叶面平坦，长6～9㎝，宽4～5.5㎝。花期1～3月。
