Cangwu Mudan

Cangwu Mudan (C. chekiangoleosa X C. japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'). China Regn. #2021-331. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2021, No.4, p.65. It was originated and registered by Wang Jiangying, Tang Xueyan, Ge Jintao, Shao Xiaobin, Zhu Pengbo, and Sun Mingwei from the Lianyungang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In March 2016, it was obtained by crossing of C. chekiangoleosa as the male parent and 'Kramer's Supreme' as the female parent. Flowering for the first time in February 2020. Flowers red, the inner petals with narrow white edges, peony form, medium to large flowers. Petals medium thickness, apex  concave, slightly wavy edges;  Stamens golden yellow, mixed in inner petals.  Tender buds green or yellow-green. Leaves dark green, thick coriaxious, oblong, veins clear, margins serrate, and petioles green. Plant shrub-like, compact in shape, growing vigorously, and adaptable.  Mid-flowering.

苍梧牡丹Camellia ‘Cangwu Mudan’ 中国登录号：2021-331，《中国花卉园艺》2021年第4期65页。由连云港市农业科学院的王江英、汤雪燕、葛金涛、邵小斌、朱朋波、孙明伟培育并登录。2016年3月以浙江红山茶为父本，以'克瑞墨大牡丹'为母本杂交而得。2020年2月首次开花。苞片覆瓦状排列，椭圆形，绿色，略被灰褐色，花朵大红色，内轮花瓣有较窄白边，牡丹型，中型至大型花，花瓣中等厚度，外轮花瓣宽大，先端圆形中间具凹缺，边缘略波浪状，金黄色雄蕊，混生于内轮花瓣中。单花，花量中等。嫩芽绿色或黄绿色，叶片浓绿色，厚革质，长椭圆形，叶脉清晰，叶缘细齿状，叶柄绿色。植株灌木状，株形紧凑，生长旺盛，适应性强。顶芽双生，叶稠密程度中等，单叶互生，上斜，叶片花芽顶生和腋生。花期中。
