rose form double, C. japonica chance seedling, early too late.
Originated by O. L. Jacohson, Jacksonville Beach, FL. The 14-year-old seedling
first bloomed in 1988. Average size flower untreated is 4 112" wide and
4" deep with 30-40 petals, gold anthers and white filaments. Average size
flower treated is 6 1/2" wide and 4 - 5" deep. Unique color - a faint
rose glow from deep center receding to blush in outer edges. Plant growth is
spreading and average with light green leaves measuring 3 1/2" long and 1
3/4" wide.
