Debo ( C. hybrid) ACS, Reg. No.2463.American Camellia Yearbook, 1998, p1, with color photo in colorinset. 2. A medium, bright red, single, C. hybrid (c. japonica seedlingx C. vernalis seedling), early to mid-season. Originated by Ray Bond andpropagated by Bond Nursery Company, Dallas, TX. The 10-year-old seedling firstbloomed in 1987. Average size flower is 3-1/4" wide and 1" deep with6 petals, yellow anthers and yellow filaments. Blooms fall in one piece and arefragrant. Plant growth is spreading, dense and vigorous with light green leavesmeasuring 3" long and 1-1/2" wide.
