American Camellia Yearbook, 1981, p.97, Reg. No.1771: A very large, clear pink washed silver, C.reticulata hybrid, (William Hertrich x Buddha) that flowers late; originated by Marjorie O’Malley, Woodside, California, USA. The 10 year old seedling first bloomed 1973. Average flower size is 17 cm across and 7.5 cm deep with 9-10 petals, golden anthers, white filaments. Plant growth is upright, open and rapid with dark green leaves,11 cm long x 6.5 cm wide.
