It was originated by Clarence and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida and registered by Mary Engstrom of Ocala, Florida and propagated by Woodside Camellias of Citra, Florida, USA. Bloom: The medium sized 10.1 cm x 5.1 cm semi-double form flower is bright pink. It has gold anthers and white filaments. This profuse bloomer falls in one piece and is long lasting with consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves average 9.5 cm x 2.5 cm with low serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
