American Camellia Yearbook, 1960, p.198, Reg. No.496: A chance seedling of unknown parentage originated by Lindley Nurseries, Greensboro, North Carolina, USA from an old plant growing before 1900. Plant growth is upright and medium with dark green leaves, 7.5 cm x 5 cm. The light red, semi-double flowers, 9-10 cm across x 6 cm deep have 14 petals and yellow stamens. Late flowering.
