[Variety origin] Selected by the Tea Research Institute of Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences and others from a single plant selection from the local population species of Shitai Dajing. [Characteristics and properties] Shrub type, early species, half-open posture, strong growth potential, low branching site, medium branching density. Medium leaf type, leaf blade upward bearing, narrow oval, leaf blade length 10.4 cm, width 3.5 cm, leaf color light green, leaf tip acuminate. The exploitation period is usually in late March, and the bud and two leaves bloom period is usually in early April. The germination density is medium, the velvet is medium, the length of one bud and three leaves is 9.9 centimeters, the weight of one bud and three leaves is 62.5 grams. The blooming period is in the second half of October every year. The biochemical sample of one bud and two leaves in spring contains 21.2% of tea polyphenols, 3.3% of amino acids, 4.1% of caffeine, 48.5% of water leachate. Suitable for green tea. The shape of green tea is still tight, slightly curled, slightly hairy, yellowish green, the soup color is light and tender green, clear and bright, the aroma is high and fresh, the fragrance is obvious, there is chestnut aroma, the taste is fresh and sweet, and the leaf bottom is soft and even, with stems and buds, tender and yellowish green. In the first growth cycle, the mu yield of one bud and two leaves is 437 kg, which is 21% higher than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'; in the second growth cycle, the mu yield of one bud and two leaves is 579 kg, which is 15% higher than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'. It is resistant to tea anthracnose and tea leafhopper, low cold resistance and medium drought resistance.
