This 24-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 1997. It was originated, registered and propagated by Thomas Sellers of Bolivia, North Carolina, USA. Bloom: The large to very large sized 11.4cm x 6.3cm (treated 12.7cm x 7.6cm) full peony form flower is hot pink. It has yellow anthers and yellow filaments. The blooms fall in one piece and are long lasting with consistent form and heavy petal texture. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 12.7cm x 6.3cm with low serration. Bloom season: Midseason.
