Ogura-no-sato

Encyclopedia of Camellias in Colour, vol.I, 1972, pl.231, p.111, description, p.325: Pale blush pink, small, single, 7 cm across 8-9 broad, emarginate petals and a spreading cluster of stamens, dull yellow anthers, light yellow filaments. The thick petals hold the flower shape. Leaves mid-green, broad-elliptic, apex acute, margins serrate. For colour photo see p.28. Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū. Originated in Nei-gun, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Named and released by Shūhō Kirino in 1964.
