Richard Buggeln (C. japonica). published in American Camellia Yearbook 2021, p. 111. Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3266. It wasoriginated and registered by Pat B. Johnson from Cairo, Georgia, USA. A 17 yearold chance Seedling of C. japonica 'Beatrix Hoyt'. It was firstbloomed in 2014. Flower anemone form, medium, 8.9 cm in diameter and 3.8cm in depth, medium red with yellow anthers and pink filaments. Leaf mediumgreen, 6.4 cm long, and 3.8 cm wide. Plant upright, open growth, averagegrowth rate. Bloom mid-season to late.
