Description

» English Description

Verschaffelt, 1859, Nouvelle Iconographie, Book XI, pl.IV: This owes its name to the semi-lucidity or transparence through the tenuity of the petals. It was sent from Italy in 1858. It belongs, by the regular imbrication of its petals, to the class of ‘Perfection’, distinguished by its ruddy pink colour with a light blush tint and a few white stripes at the centre. Orthographic error: ‘Rosa Transparens’
