ACRS., 1981, Camellia News, No.79, p.28, Reg. No.272: Originated by G.W Hooper, Camellia Vale Nursery, Bexley North, N.SW, Australia. A chance seedling that first flowered 1970. The plant has a spreading, dense habit with 4.5 cm x 2.5 cm, pointed, elliptic, mid-green leaves. The semi-double, deep rose, 6.2-8.1 cm across flowers, bloom early to late.
