ACS, The Camellia Journal, Dec. 2012, p.30 with colour photo. Regn. No. 2832. Regd by Glenn Read Camellia Nursery, Lucedale, Miss. ACS, Yearbook 2012, p.181 with colour photo; Originated by Mrs. Jill Read; The 18 year old chance seedling first flowered 1998. The large to very large, 12.7cm x 5cm, semidouble flower has deep coral pink outer petals, shading to lighter coral pink centre. Centre petals slightly ruffled and fluted. Upright, vigorous growth. Dark green leaves average 10cm x 5.7cm. Flowers early to midseason.
