[Variety Source] Selected and bred by Sichuan Agricultural University and others from a single plant of 'Beichuan Taizicha'. [Characteristics] Small tree type, medium leaf type, early growing species. The tree posture is semi-open, strong growth potential, high branching site, dense branching. Leaf blade upward bearing, medium oval, 9.6 cm long, 4.5 cm wide, leaf color dark green, apex sharp. The exploitation period is usually in the middle of March, and the full bloom period of one bud and two leaves is usually in the second half of March; the germination density is medium, and the velvet is medium; the length of one bud and three leaves is 8.9 centimeters, and the weight of one bud and three leaves in one hundred buds is 58.1 grams. The blooming period is in the middle of November every year. The biochemical sample of one bud and two leaves in spring contains 21.0% of tea polyphenol, 5.4% of amino acid, 4.2% of caffeine, and 46.0% of water leachate. Suitable for green tea and black tea.
