William Khoury ('Scarlet Glory' X C. azalea). published in American Camellia Yearbook 2021, p. 98. Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3240. A hybrid seedling of Non-Reticulata Hybrid 'Scarlet Glory' X C. azalea, first flower in 2015. It was registered and originated by Pat B. Johnson from Cairo, Georgia, USA. Flowers semidouble form, medium size, 8.3 cm in diameter, 3.8 cm in depth, crimson red with yellow anthers and red filaments. Leaves dark green, 10.6 cm long, 3.8 cm wide. Plant slow growth rate, upright, open growth. Bloom season early.
