Woodland'sRed Beauty. (C. japonica).  Registered in 2019. ACS Registration #3146.This 18-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Snow Lady' firstbloomed in 2005. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnsonof Cairo, Georgia. Bloom:The large sized 11.4 cm x 6.4 cm semi-double form flower is dark red. It hasyellow anthers and light pink filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting,has a consistent form and falls in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. Thegrowth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibitionuses. Leaf: Themedium green leaves have low serration and average 8.3 cm x 3.2 cm. Bloom season: Midseason tolate.
