Woodland'sPink Pearl. (C. japonica). Registeredin 2019. ACS Registration #3147. This 11-year-old C. japonica chanceseedling first bloomed in 2015. It was originated, registered and propagated byPat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia. Bloom: The medium sized 7.6 cm x 4.4 cm formal double formflower is peach pink shading to a light pink center. The petals are pointed andincurved. This profuse bloomer is long lasting, has a consistent form withheavy petal texture and falls in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. Thegrowth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibitionuses. Leaf: The darkgreen leaves have low serration and average 7.6 cm x 3.8 cm. Bloom season: Midseason tolate.
