[Variety Number] Non-major Crop Variety Registration No. GPD Tea Tree (2022)430035. [Variety Origin] Selected by Tea Research Institute of Hunan Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences as a single plant from the natural hybrid progeny of 'Jin Xuan'. [Characteristic features] shrub type, mesophyll, strong growth potential, tree posture semi-open, medium leaf type, leaf length 13.1 cm, width 3.8 cm, leaf blade lanceolate, leaf blade attachment state slightly upward slanting; in Changsha area in spring tea bud one leaf period in late March, the new buds and leaves green, velvet hairs in the buds and leaves, a bud of three leaves is 6.3 cm long, one hundred buds weight 54.7 grams. The biochemical sample of spring one bud and two leaves contains 23.6% of tea polyphenols, 3.6% of amino acids, 5.0% of caffeine, 37.1% of water leachate. Suitable for green tea and black tea. Make green tea, the appearance of tight, color emerald green, more hair, soup color yellow-green and bright, the aroma of tender chestnut high long, taste fresh and mellow; make black tea, the appearance of tight knot wurun, show golden hair, soup color red, thick and bright, the aroma of sweet, sweet and mellow taste, the bottom of the leaf is still red and bright. The first growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves 136 kg of fresh leaves, 126% higher than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'; the second growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves 207 kg of fresh leaves, 31% higher than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'.
