[Characteristic features] small tree type, middle-grown (late) species, strong growth potential, tree posture semi-open, medium leaf type, leaf blade length 12.0 cm, width 4.4 cm, leaf blade oval, leaf blade attachment state level, leaf color yellow-green shiny, spreading glossy, soft leaf quality. In Changsha area spring tea bud one leaf period in late March or early April, the new buds and leaves yellowish green, less hairy, buds more fat. The biochemical sample of spring tea bud and two leaves contains 33.5% tea polyphenols, 3.0% amino acids, 3.5% caffeine, 47.2% water leachate. Suitable for black tea. When making black tea, the appearance is dark and oily, showing golden hair, the aroma is long, the soup color is red, thick and bright, and the leaf bottom is red. In the first growth cycle (three years old), the spring and summer tea yielded 28 kg of fresh leaves of one bud and two leaves per mu, which was 22% lower than the control 'Zhuyeqi'; in the second growth cycle (four years old), the spring, summer and autumn tea yielded 440 kg of fresh leaves of one bud and two leaves per mu, which was 52% higher than the control 'Zhuyeqi'. Yield increased by 52%. It is resistant to tea cloudy leaf blight, tea anthracnose, tea cake disease, false eye small green leafhopper, tea orange gall mite, coffee small clawed mite, strong cold resistance, strong drought resistance. [Suitable for planting area and cultivation technology points] Suitable for planting in Hunan tea area in winter and spring. The mid-growth is late, and should be reasonably matched with early-growth species.
