(Yinghong 1), New clonal variety. Arbor type. Large-leaf
size. Early sprouting.
It was selected individually from the Indian
Assam variety introduced in the middle of fifties by Tea Research Institute,
Guangong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It has been popularized in the tea
area of Yingde, Zhanjiang and Qingjoian counties of Gnandong province. It was
also introduced in limited area to the provinces of Fujian and Hunan.
Plant high, Spreading type in shape, with
higher branching position and average branching density. Leaves horizontal or
incline upwards. Length 11.0%13.4 cm, width 5.5~5.9 cm. Oblong in shape
with acuminate tips. The surface of leaves protruding. Thick and soft in
texture. Dark green in color and glossy. With waved margin. 8%9 pairs of veins.
The sprouting period in spring season appears in the first ten days to the
middle of March. The peak period of one bud and three leaves stag© shoots
appears in the end of March to the beginning of April. With uniform sprouting
rate, vigorous sprouting ability and rapid growth rate. Shoots stout, light
green in color. Average amounts of fine hairs, with potent tenderness-keeping
ability. The weight of 100 one bud and three leaves shoots averaged 134.0 g.
The peak period of flowering stage appears in the middle of October. With
moderate amounts of. flowers. Low bearing percentage. Higher resistance to bud
blight. Higher rooting ability during cutting propagation.
Higher yielding. According to the results of varietial comparative
experiment, the yield of GSCT47 variety is 15% higher than that of Yunnan Daye
population. The yield of made tea in a large area of 18 years old tea garden
averaged 354 kg per mu.
According to the analyses conducted by the Tea Research Institute,
Chinese Aca demy of Agricultural Sciences, the contents of amino acids in the
one bud and two leaves shoots averaged 2.22%, tea polyphenols 42.15% and total
catechins 250.41 mg/g. The broken black tea prepared with GSCT47 variety as the
raw material is characterized by its uniform granule, brownish and living in
color, fragrant aroma, full and refreshing taste, bright reddish liquor and
infused leaf, is comparable with the standard of exported black tea
manufactured by large-leaf variety.
Suitable to popularize in the part of the tea area in the southern and southwestern
part of China for the manufacture of black tea.
It is suitable to grow the young plant by the method of sleeve. Owing to the weak cold-hardiness in the young stage. It is recommended to protect from the frost injury and carry out the segmental format pruning, so as to promote the expanding of canopy. 【产地与分布】由广东省农业科学院茶叶研究所于1959~1986年从阿萨姆种中采用单株育种法育成。广东英德、清远、湛江等地有栽培。四川、湖南、福建等省有少量引种01987年通过全国农作物品种审定委员会认定,编号GS13047-1987.。
【形态特征】 植株高大,树姿开张,主干明显,分枝密度中等。叶片呈水平或上斜状着生,椭圆形,叶色深绿,富光泽,叶面隆起,叶身平,叶缘波状,叶尖渐尖,叶齿锐深,叶质厚软。花冠直径3.0cm,花瓣白色、7瓣,子房茸毛中等,花柱3裂。
【特性】 在英德一芽三叶期在3月下旬至4月上旬。芽叶生育力和持嫩性强,黄绿色,茸毛中等,一芽三叶百芽重134.0g。2010年春茶一芽二叶干样约含茶多酚20.9%、氨基酸5.5%、咖啡碱3.7%、水浸出物55.8%。产量髙,每667㎡可产干茶150kg。适制红茶,品质优良。制红碎茶,颗粒匀整,色泽乌润,香气高锐,滋味浓鲜爽口,汤色红艳明亮。幼龄期抗寒性弱,扦插繁殖力较强。
【适栽地区】华南和西南部分红茶茶区。
【栽培要点】宜用营养钵扦插育苗、移栽,采用分段修剪法培养树冠。投产后按标准采摘,采养结合。幼龄期注意防寒,干旱季节注意螨类防治。
