In Hangzhou area, the bud two leaves bloom generally in late March, the new buds and leaves yellowish green, less hairy, bud three leaves 7.2 cm long, 100 buds weighing 38.0 grams. The spring tea buds and leaves contain 20.0% tea polyphenols, 5.4% amino acids, 3.1% caffeine, 49.4% water leachate. Suitable for green tea.
