2021 New Camellias (34) registered in China 中国登录和获得保护权的茶花新品种

There was a total of 20 newly registered camellia cultivars this year in China, and all of them were published offically in the journal of China Flowers & Horticulture, as shown in the table below. All the relevant information of these new cultivars has been proofread and added to the International Camellia Register. Besides the above registrations, in 2021, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration has authorized 14 new varieties to be protected, namely 'Xiangfenjiao', 'Xiangyan', 'Nanxiangjiao', and 'Nanxiangzhen' bred and registered by the Hunan Academy of Forestry;  'Hongling', 'Fenmei' and 'Lingqu' jointly  by the Research Institute of Huaihua Forestry Science togeterh with Hunan Forest Botanical Garden; 'Huofurong' by Xiufeng Camellia Co., Ltd. in Longyan City, Fujian Province; 'Yuye Fenxiang' and 'Yuye Fenyu' by Shanghai Botanical Garden Golden. 'Deyou No. 2' , 'Deyou No. 3', 'Deyou No. 4', and 'Youza 2' by Central South University of Forestry and Technology. These authorized varieties have partially added to the Register so far. All of them will be added as soon as we got more details data later.

2021年国家林业与草原局授权保护的新品种有14个，分别是湖南省林业科学院的'湘粉娇'、'湘艳'、'南湘骄'、'南湘珍'；怀化市林业科学研究所\湖南省森林植物园联合培育的'红铃'、'粉魅'、'玲曲'；福建省龙岩市秀峰茶花有限公司培育的'火芙蓉'；上海植物园培育的'鱼叶粉香'、'金叶粉玉'；中南林业科技大学培育的'德油2号'、'德油3号'、'德油4号'、'攸杂2'。这些授权品种已部分完成规范入库工作。
